Once upon a time, there was a beautiful, young lady, named Jumaana. She was from the Dravidian tribe. She and the tribe's people were moving into a new valley. When
they got there, they decided to name it after their leader, Indu. The name of the new valley was to be the Indus River Valley. They would soon discover that they were the beginning of a new country. Leader of Learning
Jumaana later became the next leader. She was strong in her determination for learning. She was important because she wanted to improve the way they accomplished goals. She ruled during the age of agriculture known as the Agrian Age. This lasted from 3940bc, when the first town known as Roozertown was born, to her tragic death in 3000bc. She died from a wild bull that townspeople were trying to tame. The bull escaped from the cage and clothes lined her with his halter, decapitating her. This ended the Agrian Age. This farming age was filled with many successes and failures. One success was the creation of the Obelisk. This tapering, four-sided shaft of stone, resembling a pyramid, was created to honor the late Jummaana. Warriors were another embellishment that was helpful and was for Jummaana. These protected her and were the ones who guarded prisons. Jumaanna also had people to train settlers to seek far of lands to establish new towns and villages. The failures of this time include trials and errors in farming. The Agrian age was filled with many horrific farming accidents. One of the worst killed one of the lovely Jumaanna's sons in 4998bc.
Warning Sign
This tragic accident opened up the opportunity for her only other son, Daman. Oddly enough his name means controller which is what is was in the time of his rule. This time later became known as Tanak Age. Daman was a cruel and harsh ruler that was a wake-up call for the people of the Indus River Valley. After his rule the people of this valley vowed to never again appoint an ungracious ruler such as Daman. This terrible ruler made many bad decisions. One of these was he hired mercenaries to invade foreign areas in 3020bc. Mercenaries are people who fight for another country for money. These men were killed and the country they were from raged war on this before peaceful valley. This started more turmoil. King Daman really knew nothing about waging warfare, but he acted like he did. This made the war go good and simple, but for the other countries. He made all terrible decisions and the valley lost land and many warriors and citizens. The valley needed more money. Daman being the great king he was, decided to steal it from the townspeople by raising taxes. Taxes are money paid to the government from citizens. This turned the town on him and he was run out by a mob into the woods where he later was killed by starvation. King Daman Ruled in the Tanak Age where he lived from 3080bc to 3030bc when he was run from the town. The Tanak age ended shortly after in 3027bc.
Wars Among Time
This country went through wars on and off over time. The first war was waged with Germany in 1990bc. This war was fought over lost men that acted as mercenaries for Daman to attack foreign areas to gain wealth. These men died because of Daman's terrible tactics. Tactics are directions of forces in battle. This upset the Germen leaders so they had a war. This war lasted many years on and off because of the bad leader known as Daman. This war lasted on and off from 2440bc to 710bc. While this was war was wavering another war began. This was a war with another northern, European country. This was France, where the Frenchmen got upset with the trades around them. Basically, they got mad because this valley was trading with many countries around France but never with France. France then attacked the Indus Valley and fought viciously for 105 years. These wars were the lead into Daman being ran out of town.
When he got ran from his own country, his young, but smart, nephew took over as leader. This victorious meaning name is Ajit. He was a wise and witty ruler. He was known for his fast comebacks and great war efforts. No countries dared hackle him or his country. War was no longer an issue for India. They grew financially and in their learning. They researched a lot about currency, drama, and metal casting.
Construction King
A son of Ajit took over his father’s learning age. He was Ammar, the great builder. His rule began the Upparish Age. His rule was filled with the building of things from pastures to forts. In his early years he had workers build roads and pastures to connect and feed his country. In his later rule he built more intricate things such as protective forts and flourishing farms. His most extravagant piece of work was the palace built in the town of Ti. A palace is an official residence of monarchs. It was a beautiful building built as the capitol building and to hold government authorities. It took 98 years to build. Its start went better when Ammar was alive because once he died they had to follow his small drawing and few instructions. The final product was still amazing. He was also the person who began the temple building in Madser. This was a religious temple to house religious leaders that live there and the ones that pass through.
Ups and Downs of Religion
There was one major Queen and two major towns that were important during the Disha Age. These towns were Roozertown and Ti. Roozertown was the capitol in 3940bc. This town’s religion was Buddhist and this was the center of this country. This town was a place where many great warriors were born and where the first roads were built. This town was important because it was both the birthplace of a leader and was the fastest growing town in India. This leader was called Bay-tee. She was very religious and had strong thoughts about keeping to the Buddhist thoughts. Another town interrupted these thoughts about keeping the capitol Buddhist. This was the town of Ti. Ti became the new capitol, but the only problem was that this town was Jewish. This town was located on hills and over a tundra. A tundra is a dry desolate area where only few things grow, but still more than on a desert. This town had many hard workers and had a palace that was built by King Ammar. This did not please Bay-tee so a major part of her rule was this disagreement. She fought for her thought and regular ways but she did lose and Ti became the capitol. This converted the whole country to the Jewish religion. Bay-tee then resigned from her spot and left the country in disgust. This made Bay-tee's rule last from 110ad to about 170ad.
